剧情介绍：
该剧是一部以奥运会为题材的作品：在悉尼有这样一个华人“新移民”家庭，他们在奥运会期间迎来了几位从国内来观看奥运会的朋友，中国体育健儿的优异成绩和奥运盛会的热烈场面演绎了妙趣横生的故事。该剧采用的是“情景喜剧”的形式，和以往所有的电视剧不同的地方在于它是将现实新闻背景中发生的真实故事进行戏剧化的处理，故事的发展将和每天的奥运会赛程同步，即白天发生的故事在当天晚上就和观众见面，而且在奥运会上取得奖牌的运动员大多将在剧中出现。为此我们将其命名为“”奥运时事剧“”。该剧将采取每天下午编写剧本、晚上录制，然后通过国际通信卫星越洋传回国内并完成该剧制播过程的特殊播出手段。
