这是一部根据东北抗联一段真实历史故事改编的爱国主义战争史诗，由曾经创作过《狼毒花》《铁核桃》等优秀剧目的新派战争剧导演黄文利执导，由朱泳腾、王新军、张鹰、田野、白海涛、张慧等组成强大主演阵容。　　1931年9·18事变之后，中国共产党在东北组织抗日武装力量，东北抗联打响了我党反抗日本侵略的“第一声枪响”，由此展开了长达十四年之久的抗日战争。这部电视剧讲述的就是这十四年艰苦卓绝的战斗中，一段慷慨悲壮的传奇故事。
