剧情介绍：
明朝中叶，皇帝年少，朝野腐败。大太监李瑾忠把持朝政大权，人称“九千岁”，他不但诛杀异己残害忠良，更与倭寇勾结,鱼肉百姓。洪州的惠王收集了九千岁的通倭罪证前往京城，希望能在皇帝和百官面前一举扳倒九千岁。为保护惠王安全，初出茅庐的杨恕和华安众僧一路护送。在艰苦的护送途中，杨恕结识了锦衣卫将领马千秋与惠王之子朱辰钧，三人惺惺相惜结为兄弟，共同对抗九千岁。狡猾的九千岁没有坐以待毙，他不断派出刺客，企图销毁一切证据。一时间，京城里充满了明争暗斗。九千岁凭借权势，成功抹杀了惠王带来的证据，令惠王陷入束手无策的绝境。杨恕并没有放弃，他历经艰辛考取武状元，在九千岁的层层阻挠下取得了最关键的罪证密信。有了密信，就等于掌握了绝地反击的杀手锏，杨恕和惠王都认为胜利在望了。不料最后关头密信被人窃取，九千岁布下陷阱，反而令惠王等人背上了叛乱的罪名。惠王被迫自刎，杨恕协同朱辰钧逃往华安寺避难......
