剧情介绍：
出生在安徽农村的向远过着清贫却快乐的生活，她跟叶骞泽一起长大，青梅竹马，两小无猜。但叶骞泽的父亲叶秉林的突然回来，使叶骞泽和向远平静的生活掀起了波澜。叶骞泽被父亲带到广州家里，在备战高考的艰难时期，叶骞泽努力想要跟向远考到同一所大学，长久的在一起。高考当天，叶骞泽的母亲不慎发生踩踏事故去世，叶骞泽心里留下一道过不去的伤疤。一年后两个人如约进入广州同一所大学，然而家庭的压力，外人的干扰让两个人之间产生了误会和矛盾，短暂的分离仿佛一个世纪漫长。向远披荆斩棘在事业上成为了叶骞泽不可或缺的助手，国外回来的叶骞泽也更加明白了自己身上的责任，主动代替父亲接管江源公司，慢慢了解到父亲创业的艰难，逐渐理解和原谅父亲。向远接手的工程发生了事故，江源陷入了前所未有的危机中。在江源承担一切的同时，向远决心追查问题症结，真相一点点地浮出水面，背后是叶秉文为了自己的利益在搞鬼。穷途末路的叶秉文决定鱼死网破，约向远谈判，觉得事情有异样的叶骞泽替代向远赴约，被叶秉文绑架，向远随后报警，并在各方关系中斡旋营救叶骞泽。一切尘埃落定，向远苦苦的等候叶骞泽的归来……
