剧情介绍：
八十年代某工厂，真诚善良的青年工人周三强与从小玩到大的朋友孙志明情同手足。讲义气的他使计让志明成为保护国家财产的英雄，让好友不但圆了去大学进修的梦，还“俘虏”了女工潘莉莉的芳心。对潘莉莉一见钟情的周三强在得知好友已捷足先登时便把对莉莉的那份爱恋深藏于心中。当莉莉遭歹徒强暴被孙志明抛弃欲跳楼自尽时，三强冒着生命危险救了她，并与之成婚。甜蜜还未及品尝妻子就意外丧生，同时又突然得知深爱自己的老爸周天顺竟是养父，而亲生父亲则是厂长杨民生，这使三强陷入了极度的痛苦之中。处心积虑往上爬的孙志明，为了清除仕途的障碍，竟调换了图纸使身为厂技术革新小组负责人的周三强必须承担给厂子造成的重大损失，三强被开除了，养父也因此突病身亡。三强的人生处于低谷时，感受了徒弟郭晓媚对他的真情。生活使三强学会了理解，学会了原谅，他不但成全了亲生父母的幸福，也真心原谅了已认识错误瘫痪了的孙志明，正当三强欲拥抱自己的真爱时，郭晓媚却患了绝症......不管发生什么，人们看到的总是一个充满爱心的周三强以阳光的心情笑对人生。
